The Interdisciplinary Affective Science Laboratory is currently recruiting participants for a study in collaboration with members of the Antimicrobial Discovery Center in the Department of Biology at Northeastern University.

In this investigation, we are studying certain bacteria that affect the normal functioning of the human body. These bacteria are present in everyone, even healthy individuals, and we are interested in possible connections between these bacteria and human psychology.

If you agree to participate in this investigation, we will ask you to give a sample of feces (stool). You will be asked to perform this collection yourself, in a location of your choosing within Mugar Hall. A standard stool sample collection system and instructions will be provided. We may also ask you to complete a few surveys, which will take place before the collection of the stool sample. In return for your participation, you will receive $20.00
