About this Event
Description:
Professor Donna Lubrano, Adjunct Faculty of Business and Professor Florencia Gabriele, Adjunct Faculty of Finance have joined together to create this fun and useful workshop in the art and science of living with money for international students.
Part 1 of Workshop (30 minutes):
Participants will learn to understand their relationship with money through a series of exercises designed to uncover and build their MoneyIQ. Using fun improv exercises, students will develop a money profile that is uniquely their own.
Part 2 of Workshop (60 minutes):
Professor Gabriele will debrief those experiences gained in Part 1 and teach the “hard science of money" - the science of budgeting, managing debt, and long-term planning. Each student will come away with specific skills and a plan for their own personal financial profile. How to pay off credit cards, save money for travel/ a new business venture, de-stress managing on a tight budget- will be some of the major takeaways.
