https://careers.northeastern.edu/future-of-work-symposium/ ##FutureofWorkCOVID-19 permanently altered the workforce as we know it. The disruption brought immediate change to how workers connected to their “why” for working, achieved their goals, communicated with others, and thought of their “office.” Decision makers at companies were forced to change company policies, accommodate a new flexible work environment, and consider the whole person when it came to recruiting, retaining, and achieving.
At this event you will hear from a panel of experts on how changes are playing out in their respective industries, and how this disruption will lead to permanent changes in the landscape of work, recruiting, and retention. Students from an Honors Studio on the Future of Work will present their findings on several topics, including hybrid work schedules, the place of childcare in the workplace conversation, and healthy work/life balance for retention.
