Join us for a panel discussion featuring historian Robyn C. Spencer-Antoine, Black Panther Party archivist Billy X Jennings, and our own community leader Ife Tayo Walker. Our panelists will discuss the legacy of Black Panther Party, the party's community survival programs, and how the work of the Panthers connects to today’s social justice efforts.

Robyn C. Spencer-Antoine (Wayne State University) is a historian whose research focuses on Black social protest, gender, and working-class radicalism, particularly in the post-World War II era, whose book The Revolution Has Come centers gender politics and the experiences of women and their contributions to the Panthers.

Billy X Jennings is a member of the Black Panther Party and a leading archivist dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of the movement through his archive It's About Time.
- Ife Tayo Walker (Mills College at Northeastern) is an educator and community leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion, with extensive experience in advancing anti-racism initiatives and supporting student leadership at Mills College at Northeastern Oakland.
Following the discussion, attendees will have a rare opportunity to view selected pieces from Jennings' archive, offering a closer look at the history of the Black Panther Party.
Billy X Jennings' exhibit, found in the Slide Space at the Mills College Art Museum, will run from Oct. 11-Oct. 31.
