ENVR/CHEM3410 Environmental Geochemistry

You will combine knowledge from Chemistry, Biology, and Earth Science to
develop a Geochemical understanding of the role natural and human processes
play in shaping the chemistry of our local and global environment. You will
learn about the chemical cycles and pollution in atmospheric, terrestrial,
freshwater, glacier, and marine systems. By learning about the chemistry of the
planet you will become a more informed global citizen, develop skills and
knowledge desirable for careers in Environmental Science/Chemistry/
Engineering/Conservation, and will be introduced to the range of career
options available in the Geosciences, a critical and underserved sector of the
current and future workforce.
