Join us for an eye-opening event at Northeastern University EXP in Boston, MA! At the event, indigenous journalist Angel Ellis will give a keynote talk on her experience defending press freedoms in Indian country.
Ellis is the director of Mvskoke Nation Media in Oklahoma, and her work was profiled in the Sundance award-winning documentary Bad Press (2023).
The event will include a short screening from Bad Press and a panel discussion with CAMD faculty, including Caleb Gayle, Marcus Howard, Hanaa' Tameez (Brandeis), and Dan Kennedy.
