About this Event
Join us for the first in a series of three virtual panel discussions on the legal frameworks surrounding reparations policies. This first panel addresses the constitutionality of various reparations proposals and considers how policymakers might anticipate and structure reparations initiatives with Equal Protection challenges in mind. Later panels will consider how to build an effective record to support reparations proposals, and current litigation projects.
The series is hosted by the Racial Redress and Reparations Lab of the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project, in partnership with the Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy and the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs at Northeastern University.
