Please join us for the upcoming virtual Python Poetry Workshop on Wednesday, October 29, 1–2:30pm London / 9–10:30am Boston / 6–7:30am Oakland (virtual)

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required: RSVP here.

This workshop will be led by Sara Morrell, PhD student in political science and the NULab’s computational social science coordinator, and will explore creative and analytical uses of Python. This session will introduce participants to creative approaches for writing computational poetry with Python, blending programming and literary expression in an accessible, hands-on format. It will also briefly touch on ethics and best practices in the use of generative AI in programming and poetry.

This event is part of a series with another session on Data Analysis with Python on Wednesday, November 19, 1:30–3:00pm London / 9:30–11:00am Boston / 6:30–8:00am Oakland.

Following the workshop, there will be time for questions and discussion among the presenter and attendees.
