About this Event
Join us for an in-depth conversation about resilience, our identities, and thriving at work. In this facilitated panel, LGBTQ+ professionals will share their career journeys, answer questions from the audience, and share tips and strategies for career and personal resiliency. What is it like to be ‘out in tech’? Where do you find mentors and support at work? What are Employee Resource Groups and why are they awesome? What is grit and how does that factor into bringing your authentic/best self to your work? Other themes addressed include identity, intersectionality, leadership, emotional intelligence, allyship, and work+life+careers during Covid-19. Students, alumni, staff, faculty are all welcome. Co-sponsored by Global Learner Support, Seattle Student Affairs, and Seattle Career Services.
