In October 2017, the opioid crisis was declared a national public health emergency. Its time academics, healthcare professionals, and government officials band together to combat this ever growing issue. The hackathon is a 3-day event in which cross-functional teams brainstorm an idea, create a prototype of concept, work through innovation process with help from our network of mentors, and then pitch your idea to a panel of judges.

Leading up to this 2018 Opioid Hackathon, join us for an exciting array of influential panels. This is a perfect way to stimulate discussion and hear from the brightest minds working on this epidemic in preparation for the big weekend! Expert panelists will present on the latest research, digital health, and policies and procedures related to the growing opioid epidemic in advance of this outstanding 3-day event.

The panel will be held in the same place as the Hackathon on Friday, May 18th, 2018 12:00pm-4:00pm.

The Hackathon itself kicks off at 6:00pm Friday, May 18th and concludes on Sunday, May 20th at 6:00pm.
