Dr. Meryl Alper, an Assistant Professor of Communication Studies at Northeastern University, is recruiting families in the Greater Boston area to take part in a study of how children ages 3-8 on the autism spectrum use media and technology with their family members (IRB #16-08-35). The study involves one 60- to 90-minute parent interview at home about their child’s use of media, and one 30- to 90-minute observation of the child and at least one family member taking part in a media or technology activity that they enjoy doing together.
