Recognizing the pace at which Northeastern University is moving forward, the Graduate Student Government (GSG) seeks to run a referendum to officially recognize the College of Professional Studies (CPS). A successful referendum would allow graduate students in CPS to fully reap the benefits offered by GSG and to have a senator to represent them and address their issues in the GSG senate.

Northeastern’s Graduate Student Government is an organization that advocates for all graduate students. GSG strives to build a powerful graduate student community at Northeastern University which will enhance students’ academic and networking experiences. Therefore, this proposal puts forth an initiative to extend our
resources to graduate students enrolled at Northeastern’s College of Professional Studies. This referendum will unite students of all colleges and improve student engagement.

THE VOTING PERIOD IS FROM 11/20 - 11/22 FOR ALL CPS GRADUATE STUDENTS.
