The Institute on Race and Justice and its Community Advisory Board Presents our Second Annual Race and Community Dialogue Series.  This series is an IRJ Community Advisory Board led event and consists of three panel discussions exploring important topics on race and communities of color amid the pandemic and considerations post Covid-19.

Please join us for our second forum entitled "Race, Youth, and Police Relationships: A Strategy to Build Trust".  Guest Panelists will include two youth participants from Youth Police and Partnership; two youth participants from Teen Empowerment; Deputy Superintendent Lanita Cullinane, Bureau of Field Services, Boston Police Department; Lieutenant Mark Gillespie, MBTA Transit Police; and Lieutenant April Amaral, Community Policing Unit, Newport, Rhode Island Police Department.  This discussion will be moderated by Mr. Ricardo Jean Noelle, Director of Youth and Police Partnership and Mr. Asberry Lawton, Graduate and Teaching Assistant at the Boston Day and Evening Academy.

This virtual forum will be held, Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 5:00 til 6:30 PM and is open to all members of the Northeastern University community and the general public. This event is being co-sponsored by Youth Police and Partnership, Teen Empowerment, Boston Day and Evening Academy, the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, and the College of Social Sciences and Humanities.
