Starting life as a graduate student in a new country can be exciting, but it can also come with unexpected cultural, social, and communication challenges. This interactive GLS workshop is designed to help international students navigate their transition to Northeastern University and life in the U.S. with greater confidence. Students will explore common cultural adjustment experiences, including academic and classroom expectations, communication styles, building social connections, and navigating everyday interactions.
