About this Event
This five-week course, offered by GLS, will provide you with the tools to communicate interculturally with your peers and instructors. You will learn the foundations of effective communication, communicating across cultures, and the role our intersectional identities play in how we communicate and with whom. You will be introduced to concepts of diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and reconciliation and the importance of these variables when we consider our communication approaches with others. Our practices in the classroom will prepare us to develop intercultural competence and global understanding to face the complexities of our global reality. A digital badge will be received upon successful completion of the course, which includes participation and attendance of all classes. Register
