Bio:

Maisam Alahmed is a Master's student at the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID) and is pursuing a degree in International and Development Studies with an expected graduation in February 2025. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Political Science from Northeastern University. In the past, her work experiences included working as a Junior Professional Officer at UNESCO's Headquarters in Paris, France working in post-crisis development, and as a research consultant for UN and international agencies in Jordan, focusing on the Syrian refugee crisis and the Jordanian labor market.
