The Future of Banking:  Challenges of Financial Services in the Age of Artificial Intelligence. 

Lecture topic: There are four literacies that are necessary to ensure the emergence of a solid, efficient, and innovative financial system that will unleash the potential of the digital revolution: Efficiency, Customers, Regulation, and Big Challenges. Financial institutions are making great strides in implementing new standards and transforming their businesses, and this progress is paving the way for new financial system developments and opportunities suitable for the age of artificial intelligence. 

About the presenter: 
Until April 2017, Christophe Chazot was the Group Head of Innovation for HSBC. In that role, he led strategic innovation investment and was responsible for investing in disruptive companies; he oversaw innovation strategy and identified and analyzed themes that were key to HSBC’s future; and he managed the Innovation Centre which organizes internal initiatives, including incubation. He is currently an advisor and board member to a number of startups and venture funds and is writing a book on innovation and banking. 

His interest in FinTech dates back to 1987 when he founded Softinvest, a technology company specializing in financial services. He holds a Master of Science in Technology and Policy from MIT and is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. He is the author of “Les Swaps: concepts et applications,” which is rated 4.7 stars on Amazon.fr.
