About this Event
In this documentary short, the filmmaker engages her mother in a frank conversation about past sexual abuse by a priest, getting to know her better in the process, and beginning to reimagine their relationship. Together they present an unvarnished take on sexual abuse litigation from the plaintiff’s perspective, noting how our justice system did and did not serve them, in addition to illustrating the ways in which telling their story together has freed each of them from a measure of its trauma.
We hope you can join us for a screening of this powerful film, followed by a Q&A with the director, Angelique Webster.
