#NUwritesA Writing Workshop with Poet Danez Smith
What can’t you shake? What constantly comes back to you? What never leaves? In this workshop, we will talk about the obsessions that capture us for a season and obsessions that follow us for a lifetime. Designed for experienced and new writers alike, this workshop asks us to dive deeper into ourselves and find new language and new knowledge in the topics that we return to in our writing and our personal journeys. This workshop offers tools useful for overcoming writer’s block, for building or refining a manuscript or project, and for finding new directions and questions in your work.
- Free and open to NU students, faculty, and staff.
- Lunch will be provided.
- Space is limited. RSVP will be required. RSVP via Eventbrite, starting on September 6, 2017.
