The Center on Crime, Race, and Justice and its Community Advisory Board Presents the Fifth Annual Race and Community Dialogue Series. This series is a CRJ Community Advisory Board led event and consists of three panel discussions exploring important topics on race and communities of color that impact the city of Boston.
Please join us for our second forum entitled "Barriers to Belonging". Guest Panelists will include our very own Kaylin Daniels, 2nd year Political Science and Economics Student and Volleyball Athlete at Northeastern University, Administrative Liaison for the NU Black Athlete Caucus, and CRJ Project & Research Assistant Co-op; Harry Harding, Vice President of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships at Children's Services of Roxbury; Christina Maryland, Former Deputy Director of DEI at the Massachusetts Trial Court and currently the Director of Communications and Family Engagement in the Newton Public Schools; and William Rodriguez, Clinical Instructor of Youth Justice and Advocacy at Boston University. This conversation will be co-moderated by Mr. Sam Willams, Executive Director of Concord Prison Outreach and Co-Director of the CRJ Community Advisory Board and Carlos A. Cuevas, Professor & Co-Director of the Violence and Justice Research Laboratory & Co-Director of NU's Center on Crime, Race, and Justice.
