As part of Northeastern’s Science Connects to Innovation Program, the College of Science is hosting a series of speaker events for COS students to hear from Northeastern entrepreneurs about their business journeys, challenges, and strategies for success.

Our third event will feature Leila Deravi – Associate Professor, Chemistry and Chemical Biology.

Leila Deravi is head of Northeastern’s Biomaterials Design Group, and Faculty at Chemical Imaging of Living Systems Institute. She is the co-founder of Seaspire Skincare: A skincare company inspired by the biodiversity of marine ecosystems. Seaspire uses natural ingredients, including Xanthochrome™ to protect skin barriers from environmental stress factors such as UV-damage and pollutants.
