The University established the Cooperative Education Awards in 1971 to recognize outstanding seniors in the co-op program.  They are recognized not only for their co-op work experiences, but for their achievements in their academic studies as well.   Recipients are nominated from Northeastern’s nine undergraduate colleges by co-op faculty coordinators. A committee, consisting of three staff members from the Cooperative Education and Career Development Department, meet and makes final selections.  This year we are excited to present this prestigious award to 17 Northeastern seniors whom we wish good fortune and success in their future endeavors.  They all have a winning combination of traits – from  intellect with ambition, humility, curiosity, to persistence –they embody the essence of a Northeastern student.
