Dr. Nikos Soukos is an accomplished translational medical scientist and academic teacher and a pioneering leader in the field of Photomedicine and Dentistry. He is the Founder and CEO of Photomedics, a company dedicated to advancing and commercializing oral health care technologies.  Dr. Soukos has worked for ten years as a research scientist in Photomedicine at the Eastman Dental Institute, London and at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine of the Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital. Since 2015, Dr. Soukos has been a Teaching Professor in the Department of Physics & Biology at Northeastern University, Boston. Dr. Soukos holds degrees from The University of Athens (DDS), University of London (MSc in Experimental Oral Pathology), University of Munich (PhD in Oral Biology), and Postdoctoral Training in Photomedicine at the Harvard Medical School.
