Professor Craig Brown who is a faculty member at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University (NU), will be conducting a research experiment during the next two weeks at a computer lab in the Snell Library (SL 140) and would like students to participate in the experiment. Here are the details:

The general purpose of the research is to determine how individuals learn about their own cognitive ability. The experiment will be open to NU students only. You should be able to complete the experiment in less than an hour. The subjects will be asked to complete a personality questionnaire and a test of cognitive ability. Some subjects will be asked to write a short essay. Each subject will be given a minimum reimbursement of $10 for completing the experiment and a bonus for test performance in the experiment. While some subjects will receive more than others, each subject should expect to be reimbursed roughly $15 in total.

This research study is voluntary and your decision whether to participate will have no effect of your academic standing at Northeastern University. If you are interested in participating, then use the following weblink for a pre-screening tool to determine your eligibility for the study:
