Have you ever visited a campus office and walked away without getting the answer you were looking for? Perhaps you walked away feeling frustrated or misunderstood, or you were told to bring your question to another office that wasn’t able to help – or as we call it on campus, the “NU Shuffle.” This workshop aims to help students learn what to prepare in advance before seeking support from campus offices, tutoring services, and faculty office hours. We will share transferable skills that you can use both on campus and in the workplace to help get your questions answered and get the support you need. This workshop is being hosted by the International Student Advisory Committee in the College of Science in partnership with Global Student Succes from the College of Professional Studies.
