Each month, Art After Dark brings students together for music, food, and art making at Mills College Art Museum. October is Spooky Month! Commune with your peers and tap into your sixth sense by making your own divination pendulum with artist and Mills MFA alum Kara Nelson Forest. Kara will show you how to use your pendulum as a receiver and transmitter to gain answers to your questions. Strike a post and sit for a 5-minute portrait by artist and NU alum Esther Fuentes, who brings back her popular art form to campus for this event! And, as always, MCAM will have a gallery activity to engage you as you explore the Reshaping the Narrative exhibition. Art After Dark is a co-production of Mills College Art Museum and the Division of Student Life. Part of Arts, Humanities, and Tech Weeks.
