The 2019 School of Law Annual Labor and Employment program will be held on Thursday, December 5, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will consist of two topical panel discussions, followed by a networking reception with light refreshments and cocktails.
Panel 1:
Janus: A Death Knell or Wake-up Call for Unions?
The first panel will address the impact of the US Supreme Court Janus case, involving limits on mandatory union membership, and specifically how that case has impacted collective bargaining relations and union representation in Massachusetts and beyond. The panel will address recent legislative efforts to limit the impact of Janus.
