Join the Northeastern University Archives and Special Collections for two special events with members from Boston Female Liberation, a group of feminist activists that operated from 1968 to 1972. Female Liberation's goal was to create a community that worked for and supported women's issues in the Boston area, including self defense, equal wages, birth control, legalization of abortion, and the media's portrayal of women.

Female Liberation members Nancy Rosenstock, Delpfine Welch, and others will present on their time in the group. Materials from Female Liberation records will be on display in the Archives and Special Collections' reading room.

This event is free and open to the public.
