Yoga Classes in Sacred Space with Carmen Thurston
Yoga is a great way to combine spiritual practice, mental discipline, stress-busting techniques, and physical excercise that builds strength and flexibility. All Yoga classes in the Sacred Space are taught by certified Yoga instructors, and are suitable for beginner- intermediate levels of experience. Yoga mats and props are provided on site.
Weekly semester-long Yoga classes are offered in a variety of styles to the NU community. Participation is by advance registration only, at the beginning of each semester, and a discounted fee is charged. Yoga Classes are $50 for students and $100 for faculty. You must register with the Center for Spirituality, Dialogue, and Service by e-mailing CSDS@neu.edu or by stopping by the Center in 203 Ell Hall. All are welcome, including beginners. Participants may attend any week or every week on a walk-in basis.
Special free single Yoga sessions are also offered regularly throughout the year. Check this website for updates on special offerings for the NU community. Such classes are available to the NU community on a walk-in basis, as space permits, and require no pre-registration or payment.
