About this Event
Free EventThis workshop will focus on William Perry’s influential model of intellectual and ethical development. After considering a brief overview of Perry’s scheme, participants will assess its strengths and weaknesses as a way of understanding the different ways in which students approach learning and knowledge. We will also generate strategies for responding to students in different phases of Perry’s scheme and suggest ways that the model can serve as a guide for structuring class discussions and assignments.
