This is an open forum for Northeastern students, staff and faculty to share their perspectives on the smoke-free campus policy currently under consideration. All are invited to attend and, if they choose, to speak. The meeting will be held in the Cabral Center within the John D. O’Bryant African American Institute. In addition to Dean Fulmer, other members of the University’s Smoke-free Campus Policy Working Group will be there to hear the varied perspectives of the attendees.

It was a very informative meeting that succeeded as a way for the Committee to hear many different perspectives on the issue of a smoke-free or tobacco-free campus. My sense was that both opportunities and potential unintended consequences were articulately addressed by a diverse group representative of the NU community.
