Terry Fulmer, PhD, RN, FAAN

Terry Fulmer, PhD, RN, FAAN, is Professor & Dean of the Bouve College of Health Sciences & Professor of Public Policy and Urban Affairs in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Northeastern University. Dr. Fulmer is nationally and internationally recognized as a leading expert in geriatrics and is best known for her research on the topic of elder abuse and neglect which has been funded by the National Institute on Aging and the National Institute for Nursing Research. She is an elected member of the Institute of Medicine and currently serves as chair of the Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellows Program and as vice chair of the New York Academy of Medicine. She received her bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College, her master’s and doctoral degrees from Boston College and her Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Post-Master’s Certificate from New York University.

Leo Beletsky, JD, MPH

Leo Beletsky, JD, MPH is an Assistant Professor of Law and Health Sciences with a joint appointment at the School of Law and Bouvé College of Health Sciences, where he is also a faculty scholar with the Institute on Urban Health Research and Practice. Leo is an interdisciplinary social epidemiologist whose research and teaching focus on the role of law and policy as structural determinants of health, including special interest in patient rights, drug policy, prevention of HIV, and evidence-based healthcare. Prior to joining Northeastern, Leo was an Assistant Professor with the Division of Global Public Health at UC San Diego. He received his undergraduate training in geography from Vassar College and Oxford University, his MPH from Brown University, his law degree from Temple University School of Law, and his post-doctoral training at the Yale University Center for Interdisciplinary Research on AIDS.

Dress Code: Male members and guests are required to wear jackets, dress shirts and ties. Female members and guests are required to wear clothing meeting similar standards (tailored clothing that otherwise conforms to the rule including suites, dresses and skirts or tailored trousers with dress shirts, blouses or sweaters.)
