About this Event
Free EventTake a study break and learn about map theory at the same time with this fun hands-on mapping exercise! Led by Geographic Information Specialist Bahare Sanaie-Movahed, we’ll map our favorite paths to walk (or daily commute) and the emotions that accompany it. Attendees will gain an understanding of mapping practices and a creative project.
This workshop will be held during the Digital Scholarship Group’s Digital Humanities Open Office Hours. More information coming soon!
Co-sponsored with Love Data Week.
No previous experience is required but participants should bring their own laptops, if possible. This workshop is free and open to the public, but if you are not a member of the Northeastern community, please email Sarah Connell (sa.connell[at]northeastern[dot]edu) to RSVP.
