Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 11:00am to 12:00pm
In collaboration with Terry Fulmer, Dean for the Bouve College of Health Sciences, we are pleased to host Griffin Rodgers, M.D., M.A.C.P., Director for the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) on Northeastern's campus for a special presentation. The NIDDK conducts and supports research on many of the most serious diseases affecting public health, and Dr. Rodgers has led the institute since 2006.
We encourage you to join us for Dr. Rodger's discussion on one of the leading clinical research institutes, and more broadly, his perspective on health research, funding opportunities, and the necessary collaborations between the federal government and academia.
