GSS: Speaking English Q&A Workshops ---for Speakers of Indo-European Languages
Who is it for?
If you speak English as a second language (ESL), you might have questions about the way Americans speak, slang, the Boston dialect, or how to pronounce a specific word.
Bring your questions to the Speaking English Q&A workshops!
Tutors will help you understand what you’re hearing, help you with pronunciation, provide opportunities to practice speaking, and discuss American culture.
How does it work?
There are two types of workshops: 1) one that is open to speakers of all languages, 2) one that is for languages that are in the Indo-European language family (Russian, Farsi, Turkish, Spanish, French, etc.) so they can work on different aspects of speech and pronunciation.
There is no registration. Each workshop is independent, so you can attend whenever it’s possible. Space is limited to 15 students on a first-come basis.
GSS Speaking English Q&A Workshops are offered by Global Student Success (GSS) and are designed to support the development and needs of international students.
