GASC Seminar "On Categories O for Conical Symplectic Resolutions" by Boris Tsvelikhovskiy (Northeastern)
The main goal of the talk will be to explain how to define category O for a conical symplectic resolution (following Braden, Licata, Proudfoot and Webster), generalizing the classical BGG category O, associated with the Springer resolution (the definitions will be provided). Under additional assumptions this category has properties analogous to the BGG case, such as a highest weight structure. Following a few examples, the talk will conclude with an outline of the results of an ongoing project aimed at establishing various properties of category O for the Nakajima quiver variety, with the underlying quiver consisting of a single vertex and multiple loops.
