MIS 2309: Management Information Systems & Digital Facilities Management
The 21st Century enterprise competes by leveraging information. This is one reason why the approach for making decisions about processes and real-estate operations is shifting from prescriptive to predictive mode. The modern business professional must be equipped with knowledge and skills about how information technologies are deployed to enhance business decisions, operations, planning and control. MISM 2309 will introduce students to information technology concepts, components and practices. Furthermore, the course will explore categories of enterprise software, including enterprise resource management systems (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), computer aided facility management (CAFM), computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and integrated workplace management systems (IWMS).
Instructor is Prof. Nick Dedeke.
