Danielle Olson is a Ph.D. Student in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at MIT, and works as a Research Assistant in the Imagination, Computation, and Expressions (ICE} Lab. Her current research includes developing virtual reality narratives for empowerment therapy in partnership with a community organization which serves African-American youth (ages 10-14) and their parents to confront racial trauma & stress together while promoting strength and bonding within the family.
