Born in Sudan, Emmanuel Jal was a "lost boy," who was forced to become a child soldier at the age of 7. He later survived an arduous months-long escape through the desert.
Today this author, global hip-hop star, actor, and human rights activist uses music to promote his "We Want Peace" campaign.
This panel discussion is with Northeastern Professors Aziza Ahmed (School of Law), Lori Lefkovitz (CSSH), and Gordana Rabrenovic (CSSH).
