Keeping the Domestic Global Supply Chain Secure
Gil Kerlikowske
There’s been strong emphasis on international supply chain security, yet valuable cargo traverses the United States from shore to shore. What role should states and local governments play in ensuring that the supply chain remains resilient during the domestic part of the journey?
Threat Uncertainty Challenges to Homeland Security
Mel Bernstein
Following 9/11 and the Anthrax attack, the newly formed Department of Homeland Security was tasked with identifying new and continuing threats and developing counter measures and responses. The talk will trace decision making, evaluate the effectiveness of the measures employed and discuss lessons learned.
