Communicating Research During COVID-19: Navigating Collaboration Challenges from Home
At the moment when we moved online, all members of the Northeastern research community, PhD students, postdocs, and faculty, had to rapidly change many things about the way that we work and collaborate. We’ve had many successes, but going virtual with our work has not happened without some challenges. Is there a way to meet these challenges and keep remote collaborations with your PI, advisor, faculty, and research teams positive and productive? In this workshop led by the CommLab, learn strategies and techniques for communicating and collaborating with clarity and efficacy, horizontally with your colleagues and vertically with your advisor, PI, or faculty, from a distance. We’ll also discuss how to maintain effective lines of communication with undergraduate students that you are teaching, mentoring, or supervising.
Please RSVP through the PhD Network AND register in advance through Zoom.
